Saw Mill Playground

Welcome to Saw Mill Playground located in New York City's Bronx section. Contary to the way the name may sound this park was not once the site of a saw mill but instead was named for a creek that once flowed through the land. The city actually purchased the land for the park in October 1964 but did not open it up as a playground until almost exactly a decade later.
