Welcome to Schoharie Creek Preserve in Esperance, New York. Land that was previously used for agricultural purposes as recently as the 1960's first became a nature preserve in 1998 when the land's previous owners Dr. Lester Citrin and Dr. Clifford Tepper generously donated the land to the conservancy. While hiking the trails you just may see some of the old agricultural buildings to this day.
