Goldfein and Halle Ravine Preserve

Pound Ridge, New York

Welcome to the beautiful Goldfein and Halle Ravine Preserve in Pound Ridge, New York. The history of the Halle Ravine Preserve dates back to 1968 when the land's owner Hiram Halle, a locally respected philanthropist created the preserve. It is so diverse in plant and animal life that some call it a local outdoor science museum. Many of the trees are marked with ID plaques and these include beeches, birches, hickories, and maples. Just a few of the wild animals who call this place home include salamanders and bobcats.

Hiking: The Goldfein Preserve has no trails but the Halle Ravine Preserve has two looped trails. Come out and explore.
