Kirk Park
Welcome to Kirk Park located in Syracuse, New York on the banks of Onondaga Creek. For the 20 year period from 1890 until 1910 this piece of land was known as Kirkwood Driving Park and was the site of many horse and bicycle races, and fairs and circuses. In 1910 the City of Syracuse bought the land and developed it for recreational purposes. Today this park boasts nine tennis courts, three basketball courts, a multipurpose field, a softball field, a swimming pool, and a playground for the kids. The pool is L shaped and is 25 yards long and ranges in depth from 3 to 11 feet. Come on out and have fun.
Onondaga Creek Boulevard Park to the south is included in this park’s acreage.
