Laurel Hill State Park

Welcome to Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Hill State Park located in the mountains of Somerset County. From the late 19th up until the mid 20th century this land was harvested for it's rich timber resources. Then in 1935 the State of Pennsylvania purchased the land and helped restore it to a natural state with the help of the Civilian Conservation Corps. This park boasts over 500 picnic tables, a 1,200 foot swimming beach, over 15 miles of multipurpose trails, and much more.
