Welcome to Inks Lake State Park located in the Texas Hill Country just about an hour outside of the State Capitol. This park's water level does not flucuate much thus making it a popular recreation area year round.

Park History: Inks Lake was created by the damming of the Colorado River, the longest river located entirely in the State of Texas at over 350 miles long. The state first purchased the land in 1940 and the Civilian Conservation Corps helped build many of it's facilities.

Camping: 125 of the park's campsites have electricity and water. Come out and stay a few nights.

To contact the office please call 512-793-2223.
