Welcome to Longhorn Cavern State Park in Burnet, Texas. The State of Texas first purchased this land in 1937 and many of it's facilities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. In 1971 it was designated as a National Natural Landmark by the United States Department of the Interior.
