Welcome to Government Canyon State Natural Area located outside of San Antonio, Texas. This park helps protect the City of San Antonio's drinking water and also boasts over 40 miles of trails just waiting to be explored where you can actually see some dinosaur tracks that are estimated to be over 110 million years old.
Wildlife: Some of the resident wildlife at Government Canyon State Natural Area include bobcats, white-tailed deer, raccoons, and many others. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
