Welcome to Nunns Park located in Provo, Utah.

Park History: Nunns Park is named for a great man who was a Pioneer in the development of clean and reliable hydro-electric energy, L.L. Dunn. In 1897, Nunn built the first hydroelectric facility in the United States right here on the Provo River. Eventually Nunn sold his 44,000 volt plant to the Utah Power and Light company who eventually sold the land to Utah County for a park.

This beautiful park boasts a sand volleyball court, multipurpose trails, campsites, picnic tables, and the remains of the Nunn's historic power plant. Come on out and have fun!
