Hollins Mill Park

Lynchburg, Virginia

Welcome to Hollins Mill Park located on the banks of Blackwater Creek in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Park History: This park was once the site of a mid 19th century mill owned by a name named William Hollins. In 1900 at the end of the century it became a place known as Taylor Wagon Works which was one of the largest wagon manufacturers in the United States. In 1912 the mill burned to the ground. Today this park has a picnic area with grills, places to fish (catch and release only), and access to the James River Heritage Trail. Come out and explore.
