Horace Edwards Playground and Hollywood Cemetery

Welcome to Horace Edwards Playground and Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia. This urban park is named after former Richmond mayor Horace Edwards. The multipurpose athletic field and ball diamond are lighted so people can play at night.

Riverview Cemetery is included in this park's acreage.

When visiting any park in Richmond, Virginia it is important to know the rules.

*All parks are open from dawn until dusk unless otherwise posted.

*The following are all prohibited, glass objects, alcohol, golfing, archery.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed. And with the exception of service animals dogs are only allowed at the following parks; Byrd Park, Chimborazoo Dog Park, Barker Field Dog Park, Forest Hill Park.

*All fires are restricted to fire pits and picnic grills.

*Please respect all park property including trees, bushes, benches, athletic amenities, etc.

*The following require special permits, stages, amplified sound, tents, conducting of sales, etc.
