Montgomery Hall Park
Welcome to Montgomery Hall Park in Staunton, Virginia. One of this park's more unique features is a house that dates as far back as 1808 when a man named John Payton, an alumnus of Princeton University moved to the region to start his own legal practice. The city first purchased the land back in 1946 and for many years this park was racially segregated and was for African-Americans only.
The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking. The ball diamonds have lights so people can play at night. Come out and have fun.
