Welcome to Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge located on the Atlantic Coast in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This refuge was first established in 1938 in order to protect important wildlife habitat. The refuge's beaches, coastal wetlands, and forests protect the home of of hundreds of animal species. Come out and explore the trails.
