Welcome to the beautiful Dash Point State Park located on the shores of the Puget Sound in Federal Way, Washington. This park is a popular recreation destination for residents of the Seattle area and has some breathtaking views of the sound. It is not known exactly how this land got it's name but the last private landowner was the McLeod family who sold it to the State of Washington in 1962 at the Seattle World's Fair. The park protects the habitat of skunks, squirrels, coyotes, foxes, eagles, woodpeckers, and many others. For the recreational enthusiast there is over 3,000 feet of shoreline, 141 campsites (114 standard and 27 utility), nearly 20 miles of multipurpose trails, sailboarding opportunities, and much more. Come out and explore!
