Ella Bailey Park
Welcome to Seattle's beautiful Ella Bailey Park, though very small in size, this park is an amazing comeback story. Before she opened in 2007, the City spent $1.4 million renovating what was once an overgrown run down piece of land into a beautiful urban playground that is now a popular place for viewing fireworks on New Years and July 4th. The park is named after a local school teacher who sold her land to the City of Seattle in 1929 for just over 2K. Come out and explore.
