Welcome to Seattle's Interlaken Park.

Park History: Back in the late 19th century bicycles changed style from high wheel to low wheel and biking became very popular. George F. Cotterill, an engineer with the City of Seattle, began to advocate for strips of land that would be designed to make bicycling safer there than on the plank-filled city streets. In 1903, the Olmstead Brothers helped make Interlaken Boulevard a reality.
