Welcome to Seattle's Kinnear Park, a piece of land that was named for it's last private owner, George Kinnear who sold his 14 acres of land to the City of Seattle in 1889 for just one dollar (Hey! Alaska was purchased for 3 cents an acre). Kinnear himself promote the first wagon trail through Snoqualmie Pass and helped organize the local immigration board. Today this park boasts tennis courts, a beautiful spot for weddings, hiking trails, and much more for the residents and visitors of Seattle. Come on out and have fun.
