Schmitz Preserve Park

Seattle, Washington

Welcome to Schmitz Preserve Park located in Seattle, Washington. Most of the land makes up today's park, was once owned by the man it was named after, Ferdinand Schmitz, a German immigrant to the Seattle region who served on the park commision for many years. Though small pieces of this park did fall to the logger's ax, most of it remains relatively untouched, just as Mr. Schmitz wished. Come out and explore.
