Welcome to Stan Sayres Memorial Park located on the shores of Lake Washington in Seattle. This park was first established in 1917 and renamed 40 years later in honor of hydroplane driver Stan Sayres. He eventually set a speed record of nearly 180 mph. The Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center is located in this park. Come out and launch a boat and explore the lake.
