Welcome to Upper Fox Headwaters State Natural Area located along Interstate 39 in Coloma, Wisconsin. This preserve was first established in 1998 and consists of 3 units; Caves Creek, Upper Chaffee Creek Meadow, and Zinke Lake.

The Caves Creek section contains a 2 acre spring fed pond, a sedge meadow, and a tamarack swamp. The Upper Chaffee Creek Meadow section consists primarily of wetlands and helps protect the habitat of over 100 species of plants. Zinke Lake is a clear and cold spring fed lake.

One can explore this preserve via the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
