Jackson Marsh State Wildlife Area

West Bend, Wisconsin

Welcome to Wisconsin's Jackson Marsh State Wildlife Area located in Washington County. This oasis of wetlands and forests was first purchased by the State of Wisconsin in 1952 in order to protect wildlife habitat and hunting lands so close to the Milwaukee area. Since that time much of the land has been restored and reforested. Some of the wild animals that make their home here include muskrats, raccoons, coyotes, and wild turkeys. Please treat their home with respect.
