Leonard J. Yahr County Park

West Bend, Wisconsin

Welcome to Leonard J. Yahr County Park located on the shores of Erler Lake in West Bend, Wisconsin. In the late 19th century this land was the site of a sawmill owned by a man named Carl Erler for whom the park's lake is named. In 1943 the Erler Family sold the land to a couple named Leonard and Ruth Yahr who operated a dairy farm here. In 1999 the Yahr's generously donated the land to Washington County to be used as a park.

CAUTION! The swimming beach at Yahr County Park has no lifeguards on duty so please swim at your own risk.
