Welcome to Keney Park, Hartford's largest recreation area. This park was first established in the summer of 1894 after a former Parks Commissioner Charles Pond deeded the land to the city. It was expanded many times over the years to the nearly 700 acres it is today. The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking.
