Welcome to Girard Street Park in Washington DC. This park is home to the Columbia Heights Community Center and also has a 9,500 square foot rubber play surface with the word welcome written in six different languages. According to the Trust for Public Land, Washington DC has the nation's best urban parks. Come out and enjoy this one by shooting some baskets at the lighted basketball court and bringing the kids to the ADA accessible playground.
