McPherson Square

Welcome to McPherson Square in Washington DC, the United States Capitol City. This park was named for major Civil War Union General James B. MacPherson. MacPherson was born in Clyde, Ohio on November 14, 1828 and died during the Battle of Atlanta on July 22, 1864. Come out and see the statue of the General.
