Thomas Circle Park
Welcome to Thomas Circle Park in Washington DC, the United States Capitol City. This small park was named for Civil War Union General George Henry Thomas. Thomas was born in Newsom's Depot, Virginia on July 31, 1816 and died in San Francisco, California on March 28, 1870. He served in both the Mexican-American War and the Civil War. Come out to the park and see the statue of the man.
