Koreshan Preserve

Welcome to the beautiful Koreshan Preserve located in Estero, Florida. This park was first established in the summer of 2005 and it protects habitat for gopher tortoises and other threatened species. It is actually a nice little spot for bird-watching.
Many efforts have been made by the locals over the years to protect this preserve from invasive species. Every so often controlled burns are conducted.
