Welcome to Calhoun Square in Savannah, Georgia. This park, like a city and a county in Georgia, is named for John C. Calhoun, a South Carolina statesman who served as the 10th United States Secretary of War, 16th United States Secretary of State, a U.S. Senator from South Carolina, and the 7th Vice President of the United States under President John Quincy Adams.
