Telfair Square

Savannah, Georgia

Welcome to Telfair Square in Savannah, Georgia. Like a county in south Georgia this park is named for Edward Telfair, an 18th century politician who served 2 non-consecutive terms as Governor of Georgia from 1786-1787 and from 1790-1793. Telfair was also a member of the Continental Congress as well as a signer of the Articles of Confederation.
