City Park

Welcome to City Park located on the banks of the Iowa River in Iowa City, Iowa. This park was first established in 1906 and is one of the city's larger and more popular recreation areas. All of the athletic facilities are lighted except for the sand volleyball court and half basketball court. Come out and have some fun and see some of the historic log cabins.

*The following are all prohobited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, golfing, weapons

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, motor vehicles.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
