Welcome to Peninsula Park located on the banks of the Iowa River in Iowa City, Iowa. Come out and explore the trails, try your luck at the 18 hole disc golf course, or bring the pooch to the 12 acre Thornberry Dog Park.

Thornberry Dog Park is divided up into 4 sections. The Linder Tire Service Small Dog Yard is for dogs under 18 inches in height at the shoulder. Emma's Run is a section for dogs that may not do so well with other dogs. The Lucky Pawz Playground is the largest section of the dog park. Lily's Pond is an area for dogs to swim.

*The following are all prohobited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, golfing, weapons

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, motor vehicles.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
