Welcome to Walter E. Heller Nature Preserve in Highland Park, Illinois. This forest and wetland oasis was first established in 1977 and helps protect habitat for foxes, owls, red-tailed hawks, squirrels, and many others. There are multipurpose trails for all seasons. Come out and explore.
