Park History: The land that is now Meadowhill Park was first purchased by the Park District for just under $200,000 back in 1958. The initial purchase was 37.81 acres of land but 5 of them were sold to the school district for construction of a new middle school. Additional amenities and improvements were made over the years. Today the park boasts four swimming pools, a climbing wall, a bike track, a picnic area, and outdoor ice rink in the wintertime, football fields, soccer fields, a walking path, and much more. Come on out and have fun.
