Welcome to West Park located in Northbrook, Illinois.

The land that is now West Park was first purchased by the Northbrook Park District in October 1965 for a price of $201K from a woman named Catherine Melzer. The park was first developed in 1968 with the construction of one ice-skating rink, a swimming pool, and ball fields. Today this park boasts the Sports Center, which boasts two NHL sized ice rinks and gives ice-skating lessons, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, and much more. Come on out and have a blast!
