Techny Prairie Park

Welcome to Techny Prairie Park located in Northbrook, Illinois.

Park History: In 1993 the Society of the Divine Word generously donated nearly 48 acres of land to the Northbrook Park District. Three years later that land was established as Meadowhill South Park in 1996. Techny Prairie Park & Fields was established in 2000 after a voter approved referendum led to the purchase of 60 acres from the Anetsberger family. In 2006 Meadowhill South Park became part of Techny Prairie Park and Fields.

Today this park boasts four baseball fields, a 22,000 square foot skate park, a nine hole golf course, the magnificent "Trail Through Time" which takes the visitor on a history and nature hike through the park's wetlands, a sledding hill, and much more. Come on out and have fun. The picnic area has grills for cooking meats.
