Lawton Park

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Welcome to Fort Wayne's Lawton Park, first purchased in 1866 to be used as Indiana State Fairgrounds. Up until the turn of the 20th century it was called Northside Park. This park boasts one of the finest playgrounds in Fort Wayne (a scaled version of the original fort), a 20,000 square foot skateboard park made with 500 cubic yards of concrete and 9 tons of steel, a greenhouse with over 130,000 plants, the historic Fort Wayne which was commanded by Major Whistler, and so much more. Come on out and have fun.
