This park is named after Civil Rights Activist Mary McLeod Bethune who eventually became Vice President of the NAACP and even acted as an advisor to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking. The basketball courts have lights so people can play at night.
