Lyndale Farmstead Park
Welcome to Lyndale Farmstead Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This park was once an operating farm owned by a man named William King until it was purchased by the City of Minneapolis in 1899. This park is home to a house that was built for the great Theodore Wirth, a legend in the Minneapolis Park system, and is also home to "King's Hill," one of the most popular sledding hills in Minneapolis. Some of the park's other great features include a half-basketball court, two tennis courts, a soccer field, and a ball diamond.
