Welcome to New York City's grand and beautiful Alley Pond Park, one of the larger recreation areas in Queens and home to the city's first high ropes course. Much of this landscape was carved out by glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age thousands of years ago. This park was first established in the summer of 1929 just a few months before the great stock market crash. Come out and explore.

Alley Athletic Playground's acreage and amenities are included in this park's profile.
