Flushing Meadows Corona Park
Welcome to the largest park in New York City's Queens section, the loveliy Flushing Meadows Corona Park, site of two 20th century World's Fairs and home of the Queens Zoo. The park was first established in the 1930's in order to prepare for the World's Fair and some of the structures are still standing today. The place officially became a city park in the summer of 1967 and in 1984 the park opened one of the first ADA accessible playgrounds in the United States.
