Welcome to New York City's Forest Park located in Queens. This park's landscape was carved out by glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age thousands of years ago. The city first purchased this land in 1895 and it has been a popular recreation area for over 120 years. Come out and explore the many miles of trails or ride the Carousel.
