Welcome to Washington Square Park located in Syracuse, New York. This history of tihs land goes as far back as 1797 when it was acquired by the local village for use as a cemetery. In 1839 it started to be used for recreational purposes. Today it has a ball diamond, a full basketball court, a picnic area, and a playground.
