Located on the edge of George Bush Park, Bear Creek Pioneers Park is one of the larger parks in the Houston Area and has something for everybody including miles of multipurpose trails and a picnic area with grills. All of the athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night. The natural section of this park protects habitat for raccoons, white-tailed deer, red-tailed hawks, and many others.
When visiting any park in Harris County Texas please be respectful of the rules.
*All burning and fires are restricted to picnic grills.
*For your safety and for the safety of other people and animals all glass objects are prohibited.
*Consumption of alcoholic beverages is only allowed under special conditions. For more information please call 281-496-2177.
*All dogs must be leashed, no longer than 6 feet.
*The following activities require special permit from the park's director; sales, posting of ads, events such as rock concerts, political campaigns, or any event involving amplified sound.
*The following activities must be done in designated areas; golfing, flying remote control aircraft.
*Only law enforcement officers and those with concealed weapons permits may carry weapons. However at all sporting events weapons are prohibited.
*Please respect all plants and animals in the parks.
*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Texas traffic laws.
