Welcome to Martin Luther King Park. Like many cities across the United States, San Antonio, Texas has a park named for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, the great civil rights leader who was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1929 and died in Memphis, Tennessee ln April 4, 1968. The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking.

*All parks open at 5 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; overnight camping, metal detecting, littering, defacing public property.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; swimming, picnic grilling, consumption of alcoholic beverages.
