Fonticello/Carter Jones Park

Fonticello/Carter Jones Park is named for Carter Jones, a city councilman who first purchased this land in the roaring 1920's to be used as a city park. Today this park has three lighted tennis courts allowing for night games, two full basketball courts and two half courts, a soccer field, and two ball diamonds. Come out and have fun!

*All parks are open from dawn until dusk unless otherwise posted.

*The following are all prohibited, glass objects, alcohol, golfing, archery.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed. And with the exception of service animals dogs are only allowed at the following parks; Byrd Park, Chimborazoo Dog Park, Barker Field Dog Park, Forest Hill Park.

*All fires are restricted to fire pits and picnic grills.

*Please respect all park property including trees, bushes, benches, athletic amenities, etc.

*The following require special permits, stages, amplified sound, tents, conducting of sales, etc.
