Richmond's beautiful Forest Hill Park, was once the site of the Forest Hill Amusement Park. The City of Richmond purchased the land in 1934 and built it's facilities that include two picnic shelters, a playground, and four tennis courts. Come out and bring the raquet and have fun.

When visiting any park in Richmond, Virginia it is important to know the rules. 

*All parks are open from dawn until dusk unless otherwise posted.

*The following are all prohibited, glass objects, alcohol, golfing, archery.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed. And with the exception of service animals dogs are only allowed at the following parks; Byrd Park, Chimborazoo Dog Park, Barker Field Dog Park, Forest Hill Park.

*All fires are restricted to fire pits and picnic grills.

*Please respect all park property including trees, bushes, benches, athletic amenities, etc.

*The following require special permits, stages, amplified sound, tents, conducting of sales, etc.
