Butterfield Park

Elmhurst, Illinois

Welcome to Butterfield Park located in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Park History: The land that is now Butterfield Park was first purchased in 1930 but it was not until nearly three decades later that the park's amenities started being added. In 1960 the park got it's first lighted athletic field, in 1961 a picnic shelter and service building, and tennis courts in 1965 (the courts got lights in 1971). In the early 1980's the park grew in size and in 1998 it got a new picnic shelter and playground. Come on out and have fun.
