Welcome to Countryside Park located at the intersection of Oakwood Road and Walnut Circle in Northbrook, Illinois.

Park History: Back in 1945 this small park was the site of the Blackheath Golf Course clubhouse and swimming pool. While the local subdivision was under construction the Clubhouse served as a sales office and in 1954 the lots were sold and the developer donated them to the homeowners association who then demolished the clubhouse and donated the land to the park district. A baseball field was added in 1965 and a basketball court added in 2001. Come on out and have fun.
