Welcome to Chappetto Square located next to much larger Astoria Park in Queens, New York. This park is named in memory of 2nd Lieutenant Peter Chappetto, a local WWII Veteran who died in the battle of Anguar on September 26, 1944.

*The following are prohibited; childless adults in the playground areas, defacing public property, fighting, gambling, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, sexual activity, weapons.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; alcoholic beverages, bicycles, fires, fishing, horseback riding, motor vehicles, swimming.

*The following require special permits; camping, sales.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
