One Room Schoolhouse Park
Queens, New York
Welcome to New York City's One Room Schoolhouse Park. As the name implies, this land was once the site of a one room schoolhouse, in fact the last one in the burough of Queens. It was first built in 1879 and demolished in 1934. It was not until as recently as 1996 when this site became a park under the signature of Mayor Rudolph Guiliani.
